Convince me that the coming "crisis" is not in fact GOOD for everybody who isn't a bagholding banker or boomer or other assorted parasite doing made-up or speculative "work". Convince me that it isn't about to be prime time for the savvier zoomers and millennials (the ones who won't get filtered when the zombiecorps start trimming fat) to find their redemption arc. Why should I care if the macro contracts if the micro stars are going to align for real people? I'm not a banker who takes a haircut on his bonus if the share prices sink. I'm not a foreigner who has to find a new food supply if the US cuts exports. I can weather the storm on energy prices. My prospective employers are all starving for skilled labor and the houses I want are about to go on fire sale as the mortgages dry up, the helocalypse kicks into gear, and the hopium of the current crop of landcels finds no price support into the future. Why is ANY of this my problem?

I think Jocko makes a good argument. He says "what are you doing late at night, you are goofing off, watching tv, being lazy". So if you get up early its much easier to put yourself in "productive" mode. By the time 6-7pm rolls around you should be ready for bed.
