You could probably use Tether or some other stablecoin to circumvent a lockup of funds in the bank if governments opt to "suspend" financial services "temporarily" but at that point I'd say it would be smarter to be as light on any government fiat as you can and keep it in something finite until whatever they have in mind gets rolled out.

Depending on your situation, I'd say we're going to see a historical repeat of Hoovervilles and people cramming as many people as can fit into appartments and homes. The only people who will still be working are essential employees (utilities, medical, etc) but everything else that's not near the bedrock of civilization is going to be out of work for a long time. I don't think it's going to be a full SHTF but the poor are going to get more poor, and millions of people are going to take a solid hit to their standard of living.

I actually typed up a long If-then list in a youtube video trying to get people to chime in on what this "happening" will look like but it got completely ignored.

I have a severe lung disease due to having been born as a Situs Inversus Totalis, I have 10 more years to live if they keep degrading at this rate.

So I just want to make it to both support my medical bills and give my wife and family a good life even after I pass away...

I still have time, but knowing your expiration day really sucks...
