>What is “surplus value”

Every time you work, your labor produces a commodity with a certain market value. Let’s say you create a fishing rods with your labor. It goes on the market for $1,000. It will be divided by this: The capitalist will get 800$ and you will be awarded 200$ for your labor. That 800$ that you did not get is surplus value.

The goal of syndicalism is to lower surplus value as much as possible so every worker gets the full product of his labor. If you were in a co-operative instead of a capitalist enterprise, you would get for example 800$, and the 200$ in surplus would go to the collective for equipment and stuff instead of a dirty capitalist. Of course, there will always need to be some surplus for the business, but 200$-800$ is a gigantic difference.

Good job.

>Labor is entitled to all it creates

If you work, and your labor produces a certain amount of value, do you not believe yourself entitled to that value? Do you not find it wrong that your labor produces a “surplus value” that you do not get? Do you think it’s OK that there is a capitalist class that thrives on the backs of the workingman? Sucking out all the value of his labor creates and leaving him little? If you think this is OK, then you just might be a cuck.

>Spend all day working in a factory
>Your labor produces $1,000
>You get 200
>The capitalist gets 800
>That 800 is surplus value

The answer is simple. Remove the middleman and the worker will receive the full produce of the fruits of his labor.

Abolish private property. Abolish capitalism.

>blaming nonwhites when capitalists take a majority of the value you produce

Even in near totally white countries like Finland, you're going to see a rise in leftist politics as people lose their jobs and watch the state bail out the banks and rich while pensions are eliminated.

>They would rather see everyone (including themselves) equally poor than have 1 person rewarded for their talent,
That's not the definition of socialism.
In socialism, workers receive the full fruit of their labour because they own the means of production. In capitalism, the shareholders extract profit off the backs of their workers. Socialism literally rewards labouring more than capitalism does. Capitalism rewards "entrepreneurship", which is a nice way of saying exploiting workers.

>thinking that democracy doesn't work because people have different abilities
you think people would be dumb enough to vote like that? obviously doctors do more than nurses and should be compensated more. The larger issue though is that your salary as a wage laborer is vastly less than the amount of value you provide to the company. Everybody, even capitalists accept this. All we want is for this surplus value being paid out to capitalists to instead be paid to workers who created that value, and in a democratic system that would happen. It's not like in America lower wage people are trying to bankrupt the country by trying to vote for better living conditions

>stop being so goddamned starry eyed about this shitty ideology. it is entirely impossible for this ideology to work in the greater world.
look up worker co-ops and syndicates and stop with this muh real world bullshit. we already know that a perfect free market ideology can't exist in the real world either
