Here is something to consider. If you expect time to slow down each cycle then you are implying we are already late adopters and we are at the end of the growth curve.

Because fundamentaly bitcoin price should be related to a growth function you would expect something like an S curve. Therefore if we are to believe we are early adopts then these cycles should be getting shorter and not longer until we reach peak adoption and growth.
