Well you've been through quite the experience anon all the better it you've come out as an exceptional person.
But surely you can acknowledge that not everyone can break through the clouds. Man is not equal.
Similar to stories of people who went through a brutal childhood and grew up hardened and angry, using that anger to force themselves into a better place in the world.
But most people sink, not swim.

Don't underestimate the value of a strong lasting friendship.
Scoff at it now but if the worst comes to pass and Roastie Toastie takes your kids, marriage and money you will end up just like those sad middle-aged men you see in the pub that society do their best to pretend don't exist.
But with your buddy you call her a whore and laugh about whatever stupid shit she's said.
