I'm saying manipulation is part of the game, and psyops are how they maintain control. It doesn't fit the narrative of defeating "big bad centralized binance" if binance doesn't do some evil things. Let me explain with a story

When I was a child I had a friend, we'll call him anon. Anon was a decent friend of mine by his standards, but he was wicked smart, strong, and popular. I knew that, if done right, he could help me in a lot of ways in my own social hierarchy plans.

One problem I have, I'm not his closest friend. He has a friend who is like a brother to him. They're practically together at the hip. This is a problem for me, because he can't help me if I'm not the most important person to him (outside family and such). So, what do I do?

The three of us are hanging out one day, at his house, playing hide and seek. I hide with my enemy (his friend) near his dog's pen. Long story short, I kill his dog and convince him that this person who was his friend did it. His parents believed me, my parents believed me. The kids at school believed me, but most importantly, my friend believed me. I became his closest friend till this day because of that, how could I not be?

In order to get a dog to trust you, first you must break it's spirit. In order to get a soldier to fight for you, to give his life for his country, you need to convince him that it's honorable to do so.
