In the end Bitcoin Cash will trump all but I still wish Roger Ver was on the same side as Satoshi. Roger does a lot to on-board people and businesses. Regardless of their ideological differences they both have the same end goal: censorship-resistant money for the whole world. It will still increase economic freedom no matter what.

smart contracts on bitcoin isn't the same as smart contracts on ethereum. on bitcoin you define a smart contract but it's only ever executed off-chain. you publish proof of the execution on-chain as a hash and those that want to verify it execute it off-chain and compare the results. this scales much, much better than ethereum and there's no need for something like gas. though you can't do the same stuff.
