Because paper fiat is fully controlled by decree and can be created or destroyed when desired. You should know by now this is all about societal control. Silver means no counter party risk, i.e. no state middleman. I watched the 1970's film Cromwell not too long ago and there was a piece of dialogue that made me realize why fiat exists. The King had to tell parliament to raise funds for war. That means if the treasury only has commodities it can run out of money. With fiat you can print to infinity and kick the monetary issues down the road. The more I learn about these sophisticated systems and their tricks the more I get disgusted by them as us plebs are nothing but livestock to fund the elite's agendas.
