Can someone help me understand what's being recreated here?

RK matched DFV's shares exactly. in 2020 we had the T+2 settlement cycle. So on 12/22 we saw the shares settling with a +25% markup the same day when options expired.

T+30 settlement for those FTDs popped for a 80% price increase.

But why did the squeeze happen, was it really a nonstop ftd cycle?
