As someone who prepared around 7 years to do the big moving to the other side of the world, I can assure you, it takes time but it's doable. Don't give up.
I moved to Nagoya 4 years ago and it's great. I can finally have the hermit life I always wanted, everyone is very well mannered, city is clean as fuck, hardly any immigrants (except me), etc.
