Chainlink is an interesting project. I've yet to actually figure out the value of the token beyond pure speculation.
Oracle calls are cheap, there's no need for locking up any considerable amount of tokens in penalty payments when a sufficient number of nodes are used, and any profitability will ultimately be sucked out by api data providers strong-arming node operators.
I don't care, Eth scaling issues still aren't fud.
