It's not just that we can't do much as individuals, what's more important and somehow everyone forgets that this has been foretold, which means it is going to happen, and is part of the great plan. I mean, it does cause some kind of second coming of Jesus doesn't it ? So actively working against this like pictured in Hollywood movies, would actually be taking the side of the villains (as in, fighting against the heavenly state that comes after the seven years of misery).
