Thought about investing in crypto for awhile in 2017 but mostly ignored it because I had a shit job working construction for an asshole who barely ever paid me. Finally went in in December as a birthday present to myself with $500. Traded shitcoins up to around $4k. Stayed in ICX and got rekt. Got arrested April 2018. Tried to kill myself and spent a week in the hospital plus a month in rehab. Ignored crypto while dealing with jail, unemployment and debt. Tried not to cash out but capitulated around June. Got a decent job a month or two later. Became financially secure enough to start investing again in November. Started small but worked my way up to 12k LINK, which is now over $40k. That's the most money I've ever had in my life. I get off probation next week and can hopefully get my license back soon. All in all I'm pretty happy right now, and glad I didn't successfully neck myself. Buying LINK and getting sober were the best decisions I ever made.

Also for the record in April of last year I was putting a gun in my mouth to see how it felt and trying to find the best angle to make sure I died. I tried to hang myself 3 times and spent a month in the loony bin. I was about to be homeless, addicted to drugs, succumbing to mental illness and felt absolutely depressed and hopeless.

Today, I am 8 months sober. And thanks to an employer who saw something in me, and Chainlink, I have more money then I've ever had in my life. Things changed, and they will keep changing for all of us. The best is yet to come.
