non-econ brainlet here. had a quick question.
with the dollar as the reserve currency, would it be better to have the treasury print money instead of the fed to avoid interest/debt?
also does this address the triffin paradox?
and would inflation be mostly exported overseas?

Is it a good idea to by some short term bonds now or t-bills?

is it possible to make money on the oil rebates? i understand i'm given a couple dollars per barrel right now, but after the cost of logistics, storing the barrel, labor etc, how high does the oil rebate have to reach for me to make a profit holding barrels? i know that the barrels can be pretty heavy and i'm not sure i could pick them up and move them by myself so i would need to hire workers to lift the barrels into my truck/van. gas is pretty cheap so it's a good time to drive the barrels long distances if i can save on shed rental costs
