Well anon-san, the opportunity cost is that if you put in now, you've got a spot. Deciding to put in later means competing with others.

Keep in mind that the pre-ordering was supposed to go up until the 10th. It was only today that everyone got the following message:
>Hey guys! We are about to overpass the cap for our pre-order - the $5M threshold. That is 1/3 from our lower hard cap for the whole sale. We also have about $2.5M in hard commitments that are now in the transferring status. So we intend to stop the pre-order at 2pm UTC time on Friday, September 1 and focus on preparation to the main sale.
>We are releasing the countdown on the website now and will keep opening new pre-order accounts until mentioned time. After that we will deactivate the pre-order button and will wait for all of you and all who is interested in our project at the main sale on September 12, 1pm UTC.
>Thank you for your participation and we are looking forward for our mutual success!
...in other words, word is getting out. If the hype for this takes off, particularly on Twitter and Reddit and the other services, then who knows what could happen? We could have a situation like Monetha today where it sold out within minutes.

Otherwise, the only other risk is not buying on the 12th.
From Day 3 to Day 7 of the sale the ICO price will got up to $1.05
From Day 7 afterwards, $1.1

Anyways, I figured better to get in now and risk market prices. I contributed in ETH, and I am hoping that won't come down in the next week, given that people will want to buy ETH, especially on the 11th and 12th for Enigma, Science, and Cindicator.

That's just me though!~

I'm excited about Radar Relay too, anon-san! Finally, we'll be free of Etherdelta!

Though for ZRX, I'm torn. On the one hand, implementing the protocol and increased usage should deliver. On the other hand, we competition coming soon, such as Kyber. I want to see how that plays out first.

>>3147676
I've already mentioned Science, Kyber, and Enigma. There are around 4 others I'm looking at, but I'm not going to talk about them until I host *ICO FEST*, when I'll explain them. Don't worry: none of these other 4 upcoming ICOs have white lists. At least, that I know of. I'll check again!

Also, I decided to not pursue Avalon. It just didn't excite me. Plus I could never figure out their weird trailer...

>>3147705
I didn't watch that movie anon-kun.

But nothing is stopping anons from going forward and doing their own research. If anything, I encourage them to do so! The issue is that while a lot of people do have agency, they just don't use it or (more likely, and this is the issue) they don't understand some of the technologies/concepts at play. Which is reasonable, given that this can be some pretty complex stuff.

No one has to follow what I say anon-kun. I just post my views and answer questions that I can answer.

Use this anon:

Keep in mind that, as explained before, MBRS is currently trading as EMB.

I was actually really interested! I wanted to put money in, but unfortunately, I decided to hold off because of the more interesting September ICOs. So many projects, so little time...

>>3148940
That's FoodCoin, right anon? Unfortunately, I haven't a had real chance to look at it. Not much hype around it either.

Well anon, as you know, people in the US "can't" get on the white list for that. They'd have to get a foreign family member or trusted friend to act a cutout.

*Surely* you don't think I'd do something like that in hopes of taking advantage of what some are calling 0x 2.0, but with Vitalik advising and Chinese people hyping up, right?

Yes anon-san, but MBRS is building an entire ecosystem to support it. Again, it's not just a distribution system, but also collaborate comms and a social network element. And with a mobile app version in the future!

And no, like I said, I'm holding long term. In fact, I'll give you my ETH address so you can keep track of my 100,000 MBRS and ensure that I don't move a single one out of my wallet and onto Etherdelta or any exchange. It is the blockchain after all, so it's impossible to hide it:

(I think I'm currently #50)

Anon-san, if you don't want to buy MBRS, that's fine! After all, the great thing about this board is that we can make our own decisions about to buy, no matter who is saying what! I just want to provide a bit of information why I think this is going to go up.

Anon, I don't mind if you copy and paste what I wrote about Aragon some time ago. It helps spread information after all!

But if you do, please *try* to update it to reflect current events.

On a side note: I am still optimistic about Aragon, but it's a long-term hold. So have to be willing to wait a few months and miss other things.

You can find me on some of the /biz/ discords anon! Just look for me.

Honestly anon-san, I haven't looked into SONM as much as I want to (and you aren't the first to ask!).

Find me in the discords and ask me there. In the meantime, I'll try to look into it (once I'm finished compiling some info on MBRS).

Pretty satisfied how this one turned out! Bought a chunk at $0.019, started explaining it around $0.04, and it's taken off. Should hit $0.25 on Bittrex easily enough.

Though smart anons (such as yourselves!) would be wise to hold a chunk for the long term. After all, this is a platform that is only just getting started~

Did you hold a really small amount anon? That's probably why it's taking so long. If not, go over to the Telegram group and tell the devs.

Also, remember: 2nd distribution is on Tuesday. So buy more now.

Hai! You're welcome anon.

Though I disagree: though a more limited supply of tokens would mean more for us (short-term benefit), I'd rather more money go into the ICO so that the dev team is better funded, they can hire marketing people, and achieve more (long-term benefit). Better to endure bit now for better gains later, don't you think?

>>3051220
29.4 million tokens.

>>3051312
Strange... I bought in the first day, long before they did personalized wallet and it shows my tokens just fine. I would ask the devs again.

Ne, anon. Don't you think they're essentially prepaid cards? That's a pretty crappy business to be in. And I'm guessing that these guys will struggle to monetize their angles. Especially when regulation eventually rears its ugly head! They've built themselves around what would normally be features of a service, not necessarily a core business by itself. My guess is they'll eventually die.

The only one that I've noticed is different Metal (MTL) and their future metal (what else?) debit card. Why? Because they've made themselves into banking platform with US-based FDIC insured accounts and a crypto wallet where you own your own keys. In other words, they're basically a bank account! You can buy crypto with them through their app (using your external bank account), then use the bank account inside the app to just ditch the normal bank account.

That's why I bought a small bit and am sitting on it. Though if you disagree, I'd love to hear why!

As I explained before in this thread anon-san, we're trading percentages here. Not values.

Let's say Vitalik appeared tomorrow and dropped biggest possible positive news he could drop on us: the release of Metropolis. Markets go insane and shoot up to $500 per ETH from the current $301 in a wild orgy of hype and speculation. Eventually, the prices settles around the $600 to $750 range. That's still just a 100 to 150% increase; 2 to 2.5x.

If that's what you prefer, then don't take a risk with DNT and others. But I'm going to keep on playing this game my way, and expect to make a *loooot* of money out of it before I'm done.
