If you wanna be an investor, average down and hold your shit if you have to. If you wanna be a trader, set a target at when you want to take profits and always abide by those rules. If you're feeling euphoric, always take some off the table. Who knows what the fuck this stupid market is gonna do next, so if you worried about a certain position, you can hedge it with puts that are 10% ITM that expire at least 1 month out.

I can relate to that. I had some PLTR LEAPS I got a few days before lock up expiry (lol) and knew the price would drop, so I got 2 35p that expired 1 month out. I actually timed selling the puts pretty well since PLTR was crabbing at $25 most of that day. Sold the puts and averaged down on my LEAPS. Had I not done this, I think I'd be down -40%+ on them right now. Although if I just fucking waited for the lockup expiry I'd have twice as many LEAPS, but oh well lesson learned.

My portfolio is at about $200K now and I absolutely know that the dump is coming and I should cash out at least half of it but I'm just too lazy. Opening all these different wallets of mine with their different seed words/passwords/pins, sending all these shitcoins through all these shitty clients and wallets to my exchange of choice, putting in proper sell orders without generating to much fees, etc., etc. It's all just so much dull work.
