Doesn't this mean that US consumer and commercial package logistics are gonna be seriously fucked? Either the rest of delivery services are gonna have to step up massively, which means basically all 3 other major package handlers are going to have nearly doubled loads. I'm gonna pretend I have any idea of whether or not this would affect the stock price of AMZN but they as a company will be affected greatly.
Depends how long the strike will last and if the company will work with the union in negotiations.

Why does the (inflation-adjusted) cost of living keep going up so aggressively, to the point where basically anybody who isn't rich is now struggling, and we're all constantly agog in sticker shock at everything from a chicken sandwich to our natural gas bill to our rent payment? Why is merely meeting basic needs just getting relentlessly costly? Where is the leak or inefficiency that's causing this, why does it seem to be accelerating, and why was that inefficiency not there 40 or 50 years ago? Shouldn't technology and refinement of various methods and processes (in food and energy production, etc.) have led to the opposite effect? The only area where this isn't happening is electronics, which seem to just get better and better while barely going up in price. It's fine if your theory involves Jews or boomers, but show your work.
