Can the story be about owning a business/dealing with customers?

>Have 99% good customers, many excellent, friends, establish good relationships with buyers and sellers
>sell a lot of various products, many to other sellers who are also reasonable
>find rare lot of highly desirable consumer goods, very easy to sell and paid a good price with guaranteed margin if I take time to sell
>put it online, many different buyers/resellers give compliments
>told product will sell easily, flooded with messages
>end up spending a week researching, labeling, categorizing products, ordering specialized boxes for them
>send manifest to potential buyer who deals specifically in this brand of items
>every piece is lowballed, potential buyer points out flaws of items (which is fair) but unreasonably assumes all items are flawed due to less than 10% being damaged/worn due to age
>Offered 20% of what I can sell them myself for if I take time, even if I wholesale would make more
>end up keeping everything and selling slower, could have done this with no research
