So I bought some Asahi rounds for fun from SGB, I normally buy sovereigns elsewhere for stacking, and they sent me one which has a chunk missing out of it and it weighs 0.2g less than the other non-defective Asahi rounds in my order.

I emailed their support to show them, and they emailed me back saying weight and purity is the only thing that matters for the value of bullion, condition doesn't affect it's value, recalibrate my scale as 1oz is 31.15g, and just go get it XRF tested if I'm in doubt. Am I getting rugged or is this normal?

I get they're just generic rounds so it doesn't matter if they're pretty or not, but the irony here is I wasn't treating them as investment stacks as I do that with sov coins. And it's a freaking chunk missing with missing mass, recalibrating my scale does change the fact that the normal non-defective ones are 0.2g heavier.
