>checking out lists of top altcoins for 2020
>none of them mention Monero

Why yes, I am trying to justify holding ~48 XMR. Why is it so underrated?

My message to XMR holders. Do not go all in. It is extremely risky. A government only has to invest about 2 million dollars to 51% attack it and they have the funds to keep 51% attacking it at least until people panic sell. If it was more secure it would be different but at the moment there is no algorithm to stop any big government from taking control of it.

Although if this somehow doesn't happen or you cash out before it happens, the potential for the coin to moon is quite high.

Monero is the real deal, everything else falls apart outside of the degenerate gambling known as trading.

Imagine running a shop and accepting bitcoin. At any time some crypto-jacker can dump their tainted coins on you, leaving you with bitcoins that are not only worthless but that actually cause you problems with law enforcement and others you deal with.

Bitcoin only works currently because everyone that "uses" it for business (not trading) cashes out to fiat. Fiat is the giant mixer that makes bitcoin useable at all. Can't even imagine how dystopian a world run on bitcoin would be. Everyone can see all of your transactions forever. That's fucked. It has no precedent of working and it never will.

Monero takes the key innovation of bitcoin, proof of work, and integrates it into a system that can actually be considered digital money. The future global reserve currency already exists and you can currently acquire ~1/20,000,000 of the supply for less than $100.

We're one bad legislative action against bitcoin away from Monero prices skyrocketing. Wait until you see some whale get fucked by the IRS or some attempt to "ban" bitcoin for everyone to suddenly flood into monero.

Daily reminder most of cryptos fate depends on regulations in a favorable outcome. the only one that will thrive in any scenario is the one that is designed to resist everything is monero

Imagine not being invested heavily in the only private, fungible, and decentralized coin in existence. All 3 necessary for being true digital cash.

>BTC
not decentralized not private not fungible
>ETH
not decentralized not private not fungible
>XRP
not decentralized not private not fungible
>BCH
not decentralized not private not fungible
>EOS
not decentralized not private not fungible
>LTC
not decentralized not private not fungible
>BNB
not decentralized not private not fungible
>BSV
not decentralized not private not fungible
>XLM
not decentralized not private not fungible
>IOTA
not decentralized not private not fungible

I could go on, but you get the point

Friendly reminder that I sold nearly 350 XMR back in 2016 for 0.73 BTC. That would have been worth 10.2 BTC today. :)
I currently have less than 30 XMR right now. :)

>tfw when people on here are going to miss the newest bitcoin pump: BCM (Bitcoin Monero).

This is the one true king goys, it's everything what we wanted bitcoin to be. Not owned by Chinks, completely untraceable, doesn't fork every fucking week. This is it. What will you tell your kids when you miss the pump of the year? Pump has barely started, this is like getting in BCH at $400. Get in now you still can for a good price.
