As a social animal, we need a group of people to belong to, and you'll always view yourself as unworthy of trust, which increases stress hormones and lowers your health. You'll probably die unhappy and unhealthy as a result of repeated life choices like the one you're talking about.

Yes I realize tax money is only going to be stolen by banks if you don't get it first. You shouldn't act like them though. Next time you see a church group or some person who is very religious, take a look at their skin. They usually have a healthy glow, and this is because they view themselves as a good person and have a close-knit social group. It's good for us to be good.
