we established earlier in the thread that regional bank jitters and weak chinese manufacturing numbers are the cause for today's weakness. Now, I have a story. I ordered a new car in April and it arrived in my city's port or shipping hub or whatever you call it (it came on a train) on July 19. Sales snake say hey car is here it should be delivered to stealership in couple days. Today is August 8. The ETA for delivery was July 28th, then August 1-3, and now it says August 12-14. This is not normal. This is indicative of a systemic breakdown in logistics. This is bad news. It ought not take trug 3 week to load some cars on to the car transport trailer and drive it 5 miles over to stealerships.
