to a certain extent. for example, to earn passive income off putting our XRP into CBDC AMMs, I assume we will have to have it in fully KYC/AML compliant and taxed custodial accounts via Polysign/Standard Custody/MetaCo, with all transactions fully monitored etc

but that doesn't mean we can't also have local currencies on a private encrypted wallets which are exchangeable for stuff like vegetables or haircuts

basically what i'm saying is, i don't think it will be an either/or situation between technocratic transhumanist dystopia and techno-hippie solarpunk commune world, i think the two worlds will co-exist with each other for a while, probably decades, before fully bifurcating.

this process (the singularity, omega point, timewave zero, etc) has already begun but we can't see it yet, both because we're in the middle of it (like many things in life, it's only visible in retrospect) and because its main characteristic (the increase in novelty) is by definition outside the range of normal consciousness perception. also it probably has an energetic/noospheric/vibrational/electromagnetic/light-informational component that places it outside the normal/legacy 5 senses and 3 dimensions humanity is accustomed to.

it's like if everyone could suddenly see a new spectrum of color, we'd have to evolve the vocabulary to describe it. i bet AI will help us with that task though.
