I just saw this across crypto panic about alt coins breaking out:

I've been saying now for the past week or so, as BTC and ETH have pumped the relationship of positive correlation between the big and alt coins has weakended.

I believe the relationship is still there and we are likely to see normies and big people cycle out as they need in 2017 as the relationship reasserts itself

projects releasing or announcing things like Edenchain, Blockmesh, TAO or Chainlink are likely to be the ones to really help drive the alt rally
