I don't disagree that the US is at a trading disadvantage in many markets, tech seems like a big one with China.

1. do you really think he's doing this because he is taking a big-picture, long-term view of the economy?

2. do you think his recent actions against Mexico, India, Australia, others that I forget are consistent with this approach?

3. do you think his recent actions fucking with US titans of tech and AT&T are consistent with this?
