For the past few days I've been lurking trying to get a grasp here. I noticed a lot of shilling for this Verge crypto, and was curious to see if it would take off. From all the users shilling it I thought it would take off, didn't it have strong backing and a plan?

Now fast forward to right now and it's gone down sharply (recovering slightly but still far below)

So here's the important question. How can anyone tell if someone's bullshitting or if they legitimately think a coin is worthwhile? The verge fans seemed adamant, insisting it would take off but here we are and it's dead as shit.
