Go to a dollar store. Spend 2 dollars on a pack of pencils and a pad of paper.
>painting
check the hobby store for a coupon and buy a paint set at a discount. Paint on cardboard and whatever else you've got on hand until you get a feel for it.
Alternatively for both, buy a 100$ drawing tablet and download krita for free. Practice lots.
>competitive vidya
A terrible meme. E-sports is already an oversaturated field and you need to have superhuman autism to focus your entire soul into one game for 50 hours a day. Don't do that. You'd have more success being a variety streamer who plays low-spec games on twitch or youtube while being mildly entertaining and funny, and even that is a pretty crowded market.
>exercise
You can do a variety of exercises without any equipment for free. Running around your neighborhood costs nothing. Pushups, situps, and squats cost you nothing.

In all cases, look up guides on youtube. As long as you don't follow some dumb faggot that promises you the chance to make 6 figures by following his system and buying his courses, you can pick up tons of skills very easily, just by looking around a bit. With most crafts hobbies, you can start very small with a very low investment into new tools and materials, and work your way up as your needs require.

What is truly most important is that you enjoy what you are doing and find satisfaction in doing it. If you are so hung up on instant, cheap validation, you won't find it in any hobby. Also, find a group of friends or other hobbyists to spend time with and mutually motivate each other.
