Can some fren enlighten me about antique coins purchasing?
I live in an ancient roman occupied province, and a lot of metal detector afficionados are selling their find without a second thought on ebay.
They don't bother much, they just mark
>unidentified roman coin
and auction it for 2€.
There are medieval coins too, but they often are much more expensive.

I guess condition is the most important factor when it comes to numismatics, and those cheap coins often are in pretty bad shape, but i still feel like there is some arbitrage to be done, purchasing unidentified coin, identifying them and reselling them.

Like for example, would you consider buying pic rel for 2.50€ (+2 shipping)? What would be your maximum price for a roman coin in this condition?
