>Are you actually retarded or just pretending to be?

He's what is known as a Malignant (Toxic) Narcissist. He derives joy from being an annoying divisive shitfuck, he's unbelievably sensitive to and gets triggered instantly by the most microscopic of perceived slights, and he's incapable of sincerely acknowledging his many errors and instead tries to twist and gaslight himself and everyone else into believing that he isn't in fact a petty insufferable faggot intractably mired in his own vast ignorance.

While you'd be forgiven for categorizing his many proud displays of idiocy as clinical retardation, what you're seeing is just the manifestation of his delusionally overinflated appraisal of his own objectively mediocre importance, "correctness" and native abilities while he simultaneously discounts and denigrates the worth of all the far more accomplished, intelligent, well-adjusted and wise anons here who have to suffer his shamelessly flagrant midwittery and petty cuntish bitchyness whenever he visits. Malignant Narcissists are the most pathetic and worthless sacks of piping-hot flatulence in existence, there isn't enough rope and zyklon in the universe to give them their due.

>it seems like you only want to dip the silver into the cleaner for a few seconds.

That's certainly the case with the jewelry dips, guess I'll need to play with various low-value copper and silver coins and report back with my findings.

If there is no hallmarking then it's most likely just a plated piece, though occasionally very old American coin silver items are completely unmarked, along with some older stuff from the middle East, India and Asia, but none of that is common. If you're referring to my pic then expand and look in the middle of the bottom and you'll see the German crescent, crown, and 835 mark. The G inside the jewstar is a silversmith makers mark but I haven't looked it up yet. Even among people wise to sterling many don't know anything about other alloys like .800, .830, .835 etc. so good deals can be found if you know more than the seller does.

>discounted metal minis

Got a few pewter dragons, but unfortunately lots of the ornamental pewter is made of questionable alloys with less than 50% tin and plenty of lead and other crap. You want the vintage but not antique food and drink grade pewter which is generally 92-97% tin, the remainder being copper and antimony with no lead.
