I'm assuming that it will, but how low could it go? Could this be the event that finally decouples BTC from the stock market? What did well in 2008? Just USD?

The US housing market is going to crash:
>high rates
>high prices
>low demand
>boomers dying/retiring
>nobody is getting married
>student loan payments are hitting
>quality of life in the "third world" has increased while in the US has decreased

I could go on and on.

Canadian housing is like this because of rich Chinese wanting something outside of China. The US has much better funded and more draconian tax law for foreigners, so the US market is a much less appealing investment for Chinese who basically all commit some sort of tax evasion culturally.
