I remembered last year.
I believe Sergey and management at Chainlink are now keenly aware that a malicious actor(s) is fucking with the momentum of their project. listening to his speech more clearly reveals it too, along with what happened yesterday.
They tried to attack the Chainlink network before with direct technical attacks but it failed. So now, it has moved on to shell companies(competition oracles like Pyth) and attacks on the ecosystem via BTC dumps to suppress price and momentum so their competition can grow.

They expected a CCIP announcement. They probably pumped the price just so they could dump it(dumping BTC through 27k support would have been bad for them). They did dump it, but no such announcement arrived. They got baited. When did this happen before?
Last year at Consensus. "People" were hyping it up, and Chainlink dropped news before the conference at random and messed it all up for them.

Who would be well funded enough to do so? Sergey gave us as clear a hint as he was willing. Pyth. who owns them? who tried to dump yesterday? JUMP. Who was taking out massive loans last year of LINK and shorting it to protect the $8-9 area? probably JUMP protecting themselves after the mass deleveraging at the time.
When FTX dumped their LINK on Defi, it got swallowed instantly without effecting prices on exchange.
Additionally, the announcement by Circle for CCTP, had planned timing. The talk with the Digital Asset Jeet was basically him trying to steamroll Sergey and saying how CCTP is better for everyone, CCIP isn't worth the effort, and basically just trying to sway peoples sentiment. That was clearly a choreographed effort(Jeets talk, the CCTP announcement, and the BTC dump).

It didn't go according to plan for them because they didn't announce CCIP, but its definitely revealed a lot imo.

And can even identity individuals or trannies from writing styles over the years on where the FUD is from, or who is just paid Pajeets etc

Something has changed here this week with FUD. It is VERY different and it is not the same old individuals doing it anymore or Fiver paid Pajeets.

It feels distinctly different and like a new organized event is going on, and to me, it's Chinks. It seems very Chinky.
Any other OGs feel what i'm talking about?

We need some anon to sell Coffee at the price of $1000 cup. Chainlink is literally coupled with the price of Coffee, and unless there's an expensive alternative LINK cannot break $10 because that's the rate at which Starbucks is selling their Coffee!!

In terms of smart contract or other dependent projects (meaning, exclude currency coins).

Any possible gains depend on Oracles being solved. The ROI will be much higher if you just bet on the solution. going long on LINK is essential being Long on all smart contract like projects at the same time.
It's like investing in gasoline powered companies before they found a way to extract it properly. Investing in the extraction had better yield, it was the bottle neck while all $$ had to pass through.
Explain why the fuck it makes sense to invest i anything else right now?

I've noticed a hell of a lot of new people buying link and asking about it this week and wanted to warn you all. Chainlink is shilled HEAVILY here and so it is very hard to understand, so this background info is crucial.
Basically, a bunch of 4channers tried to force it as /ourcoin/, during the presale ico phase of chainlink there was a minimum requirement of 300eth to enter the presale. Bunch of anons pooled up together and shared presale links to fill them with their eth.
Coin continued to get shilled and pumped up and hyped for the sibios event that link was attended, whole event turned out to be a flop chainlink had a presentation in a room of like 18 people next to the public toilets, literally no news or partnership came from the event and the coin dumped back to below ico prices and created 1000's of bagholder anons.

Now during this alt bull run lots of anons and took advantage of this and shilling this coin to all the new money and newfags that joined in december and don't know this story.
The coin is HEAVILY manipulated and the supply is dried up from huge whales who accumulated below ICO price to create a artificially lower supply (a lot like REQ) and these people have so much room to dump on all of you faggots to still be in profit when the time comes.

The only way for these people to make money now was to shill the coin and do regular pumps with it, but intentionally keep it confusing as hell. Well many anons have finally broken even now. It's very likely that 4chan will move onto a new coin where they can pump from a low (chainlink is too high rank) price to much higher.

I’ve noticed a lot of new posters in the last 48hr asking about Chainlink and just wanted to warn you. Chainlink is shilled HEAVILY here and it’s very hard to understand so this background is crucial to ensure you stay safe.

Chainlink is a MEME started by 4chan in an attempt to lead people into financial ruin.

Now during this alt bull run lots of anons and took advantage of this and shilling this coin to all the new money and newfags that joined in december and don't know this story.

In regards to actual project that chainlink aiming to achieve it's nothing more than a basic json parser for smart contracts, would take like a day to add to ethereum by itself.. literally making links whole concept pointless and definitely no need for a token. Would take a lot longer to get it working with bitcoin but the bitcoin core devs would be able to work out the solution a lot quicker than chainlink will, think that's something worth noting that literally nothing is completed and you're literally just buying a whitepaper, they have only 2 developers and they don't communicate at all with no proven background on either, in fact sergey was involved in a project before chainlink called NxT that he since been abandoned until it was took over by a new developer team.

Why is this shit still so obscure?
Even absolute shit like HPB is more known and talked about.
How is it that A coin that was heavily shilled for the longest time, and shilled the most even at peak mania, is so fucking obscure in crypto.

Are crypto investors literally this dumb? This project is so obvious but even people who are supposedly ahead of the curve with the tech and investing, are too fucking stupid to see this?
