Is there any point in buying foreign junk silver? We don't really have a local dime equivalent due to commie legacy.

The stacker argument is that silver is silver, but per gram it's cheaper for me just to buy 1 oz 0.999 coins. Selling will also be a bigger problem as exchange scum will try to fuck with me due to muh purification expenses.
The prepper argument is that I'll have coinage easier to use as I won't be paying for a bag of potatoes with 1 oz coins, but market boomers won't recognize italian 0.835 lirs or french 0.835 franks and will just tell me to fuck off and come back with a wheelbarrow of fiat notes.
