I thought you were kidding about the whole IQ testing thing as currently...it's a joke

IQ tests are good at measuring your aptitude at one or two aspects of intelligence. That's it. They don't measure how successful you will be, how you will perform under pressure, or other incredibly important traits like work ethic, social skills, ambition, and integrity.

IQ tests can be biased and gamed. They can give you a general indication of how much raw "processing power" a brain has, but they are not particularly reliable at determining absolute differences between individuals. Example, 150 versus 80 is meaningful enough to say the 150 is "smarter," but 130 vs 150, not so clear.

You are not special for having a high IQ. Lots of people have high processing power but are shit at parsing out truth from fiction or reliable from unreliable data. The test itself is biased towards a particular kind of learning, and is not relevant to measuring individuals from populations not instructed with a particular set of heuristics
