Growing tired of the trend, probably gonna start investing in crypto, but this has been bugging me for a while: What is the financial backbone for crypto? What's preventing it from going absolutely tits up tomorrow? Why is crypto even a thing and how does it fit into the economy as it does? Nothing I find is concrete and actually gives me a valid answer for this besides Wizard of Oz level number schemes.
