your study was done on RSI in a vacuum and didn't even consider fundamentals. your method was to exit RSI when it returned to 50.

what if you shorted a stock at 90 and exited if it returned to 70? you could make profit on that trade even though it never left the overbought zone

your bot also bought stocks that were oversold without considering the fundamentals on why that company is oversold. take Silvergate Capital, for example. this RSI is around 20. your bot would have bought the stock just because of the RSI, but in reality there is a good fucking reason SI is oversold - because they're a crypto bank related to FTX which just blew up

SI is "oversold" and i'm shorting the stock shares anyway cuz this shit might go to 0 because of the FTX fraud

your study has some methodology problems because it lacks the ability to consider RSI + fundamentals
