When ICP goes below $3 a death spiral will occur fueled by the sell off of node, staking, and governance rewards. That is why Dfinity is using subliminal marketing to get people to be okay with the idea of cutting staking / governance rewards. You better pray we don't go below $3 (And bounce up soon) otherwise we may see a sub $1 ICP by the end of this year. He says not to worry about it but if node providers have to sell millions of ICP every month during a bear market we will only dump regardless of BTC integration.
