I'm not talking about "patterns", I'm describing what is broadly going on in the market and using the chart as a visual aid. At any given time, when the market is not chaotic, BTC is on a steady march along some trendline. In the chart I posted, you can clearly see increasingly positive trendlines after each dump. This is indicative of eager buyers who feel they are getting a good deal, not a race to the bottom of desperate sellers.
