We are in a unprecedented situation (at least in our lifetimes). They know if they stop stimulus, QE and other Fed intervention everything will crash. So at the moment they are stuck in stalling and dragging out each monetary injection to try and reinflate the bubble. So if the Dow crashing isn't a option to meet gold, then the expected balance and correction is for Gold to parabolicly climb to meet the ever rising Dow.

The rising price of Gold will of course make miners extremely profitable. It's a leveraged bet on PMs which could be as lucratively as profitable as any Crypto.
