Yeah i get baffled that the machine is all zero zero zero zero tenths across the table. Theres another machine thats table is a bit worn from 50 years of being stoned to remove burrs (our tables are a block of metal on top to protect the original surface for replacement and retrueing) a lot of electronics inside the machines have silver wiring in them to keep the heat down. That old worn machine has all copper stuff and it has this vent blowing 89 degrees f all the time, its old but useful i like that machine too its super chungus thick. The guideways are rectangles, not even thin rails, but large rectangles of hardened stainless something like 4x6inchesx12feet across for each guideway. Even more amazing is how little gold and silver weigh compared to the weight of the machine. That old machine has paid for itself a million times over, spindle rebuilt twice, cheaper to repair machinery than rebuy
