It works for anything you would usually drop off at the post office. Just have the appropriate postage on the packages you'll be sending.

You can also have your packages picked up from your house (by your regular postman) for free.

You just have to set it up on the USPS site or whatever shipping program you use. Just know for pickups you have to be shipping a Priority mail or international. But they'll take everything thing else you have, usps just won't let you checkout a pickup date without having a valid tracking of one of those two types of parcels.
