Here we see another sad attempt by broke fuddies at lying by saying that a bridge that has specific tokens it can transfer is the same as a bridge that can transfer any NFT/token from Eth/Base and back. SkyBridge lets you deploy any ETH smart contract to Base. This means you will be able to trade stuff like Shiba, Linu, etc. on Base. The bridge is a smart contract deployer, and not just a regular bridge (see pic attached). That is, it lets any holder of an ETH token like Linu to deploy Linu to Base. This will get normies on Base because they are probably not gonna start trading on Base to buy tokens like Mochi when they only know maybe the top 10 cryptocurrencies and a few ETH memes. In the end, Coinbase believes that Base is integral to bringing billions of people to web3, and more normies equals more people using their ecosystem which means more long term profit. Don't forget, also, that the bridge is a small component of AVI strategy that includes the arcade
