Telling about chainlink is a rookie mistake

So first they will think your a weirdo since they all find these Sergey memes while looking into the project.

If Chainlink fails they will be bitter about it and hold you in their head responsible (even though you warned them about the risk)

If Chainlink moons and they bought they will pretend they find it out themselves. With serious money they will probably drop you like a brick and live a lavish life style (that's what NPCs do) with new friends
