Okay /biz/, I usually browse /fit/ and some other boards and never post here but I need some advice/help.

I will try to keep this short, although it will probably be a long story. I am well off and live in Sweden. My dad didn't grow up in poverty but had a hard time in other ways and made his own fortune. He lived with his mom and sister and apparently even though my grandmother held a pretty well paying job she gambled or drank money away, so he helped around a lot at home economically and had to work to support himself (and his mother in a way) while going through school.

Now to my situation. I'm 23 years old and I'm the middle child of out three brothers and we are all studying to be engineers. My older brother has finished school. My dad pretty much spoils all of us in different ways, however he doesn't do it without demands. For example he is currently helping me with an allowance I recieve once a month as long as I am managing school. Furthermore, living under his roof we are expected to clean, cook food and so on.

I've grown up with friends who are less fortunate and don't have or haven't always had pocket money, which my dad has made sure I've had. I would consider myself generous since I try to share what I have with my friends (in reasonable ways) and I never expect/nag/ask for things from my dad. I always try to pay with my own money for stuff that would be solely mine, such as clothes and things I would use exclusively. I have access to a family car which I don't pay the gas for, instead it's expected of me to pick up my brothers, go grocery shopping and similar stuff.
