They just haven't given up because Gamestop is still losing money every quarterly and the losses so far is absolutely negligible to them
This is like losing their gambling money on a weekly to them

Maybe the reason they don't give a shit is because they have a big institutional buddy that will guarantee them a private share transfer so their exit strategy is still very much predictable. Remember that these are billion dollar funds, they didn't reach this point without proper risk management and their own little tricks
