How absurd. We might as well just adopt communism with market manipulation this transparently obvious. Make it illegal for anyone under 65 to sell. There is not a sensible trader on this planet that would say it's a good idea to hold this weekend and that is what we're supposed to believe is happening on a grand scale.

And instead of letting the market naturally retract itself and adapt itself to current market conditions, we're artificially keeping it afloat increasing the inevitable amount of damage that will occur when the market does falter. What happens if on monday everyone decides they are done with passive investing and they try to get their money? Is the Fed just supposed to purchase the entire economy?
