You can't be fucking serious. Do you have any idea how expensive it would be to borrow shares to short if it ever got to that point? Hell even before that it would just be proof of synthetic shorting. We've had this discussion ad nauseam, we don't literally need to have 100% of the float locked, just enough to prove naked shorting. Institutional shares held by retail most likely owns the float at this point, it's just a waiting game, we've already won.
