You have held for 2 years + what is another 6 months?
Chainlink is not just the most promising blockchain coming out with its main-net, it is going to lead the charge and be the industry standard for blockchain tech. The days of blockchains that tweet out memes targeting millennials are coming to and end, the corporate blockchain is coming.

If you did your research and truly understood what decentralized oracles were, u'd understand why nick szabo described them as the GOD protocol.

>if you want to read : http://nakamotoinstitute.org/the-god-protocols/

decentralized oracles will bring TRUST to the world, and also trust into the blockchain.

imagine a completely trustworthy autonomous system, that handles the terms of a contract , and that even if the company that created the contract would go bankrupt, the contract would still be running; imagine that in that contract there are terms that state that if the contractor goes bankrupt you get automatically refunded (the contractor would stash insurance money on another decentralized contract, and payment would happen then).

how could sergey claim to bring trust to the blockchain if he himself is not trustworthy, that's why they want you to follow their progress on github, that's why sergey never communcates, in fact he does communicate, but ony if it has a real meaning.

the only project right now that has what it takes to bring decentralized oracles to reality is chainlink, and that's why it is the most comfy hodl EVER.

first came the blockchain, the blockchain was viewed as not trustable, then cam chainlink to create trust, and bring the corpirate world to the blockchain.

1000$ per link is FUD, how can you valuate TRUST? it is invaluable

that's why chainlink is the new revolution.

From the Accenture Technology Vision 2018 report:

"Businesses may not make decisions
about launching nuclear missiles. However,
82 percent of executives responding to our
Technology Vision survey report that their
organizations are increasingly using data
to drive critical and automated decisionmaking,
at unprecedented scale. Today,
the global economy runs on live information:
IDC forecasted global revenues of nearly
$151 billion for big data and analytics practices
in 2017, up 12 percent from the year before.3
Without establishing the veracity, or accuracy,
of that data, businesses leave themselves open
to a new kind of vulnerability—a threat that’s
critically overlooked. A recent study estimated
that 97 percent of business decisions are
made using data that the company’s own
managers consider of unacceptable quality.4
The result? Business insights and decisions
that are of questionable value at best, and
corrupted at worst."

If you can't see CL's potential after reading this report, you truly deserve to be poor.

Hey guys, AB here. I went over the claims that I was involved in that Medium article in my last thread. I just had some follow up info from someone I know who has had direct contact with Sergey, (client side employ who was in comms during the 100MM LINK acquisition).

You guys are free to believe me or not, I am not pumping this coin and I'm thinking to improve my credibility I am going to, next week, post a cold wallet with 100K+ LINK that you will see I will not touch for a year+, that way you know I'm not shilling. I'll keep 100K on binance for the occassional sell/buy back or maybe throw it into the cold wallet, unsure yet.

Again I don't think /biz/ will affect the price, I have nothing to gain, I just unironically want to see all us biz types become rich, I think it would be hilarious after FUD for the people who don't have LINK to be pink wojaking in a year.

Anyways here's the news, basically in my last thread I showed how the enterprise blockchain company Chain.com was built in Go, despite everyone shitting on Go. I also know from a trusted source that this Go recoding is a big issue for Sergey and is the biggest occupier of his time. So I had my friend try to get some more info about why they were doing this.

Now CS fags can weigh in on this but from what I understand: Go supports superior concurrency, instead of hierarchies (like Ruby) Go supports compositions, and finally Go is better for map functions which will apparently play a significant role in ChainLINKs software.

I also was told that Sergey is definitely getting a lot more done than he's letting on and he sees it playing a much bigger role in the SmartContract ecosystem than just API-bridging. Again not a CS fag but if you guys give me specific questions to ask my friend maybe he can do a little more digging.

Either way Go was getting a lot of shit from anons the other day but it seems like several enterprise blockchains (e.g. Codius) are using Go so their might be some use for it.
