your thinking is correct, explorers fall into two catagories, one side are exploring ground that they then prove up option, sell or get bought out by a larger company. The other side find a productive location or two, and upgrade them and find a partner to setup a mine with. Its rare that a company actually starts off with a property and builds a mine on its own as the costs are huge and regulations are bonkers. You need help and outside money to help get going.

Explorers are the backbone of mining, as they find the ground the big guys want to work. They are also the riskiest. I do try and put you guys on the better companies or pieces of ground when I can, and the market does this as well, weeding out the garbage from the companies that have a chance.

I know their project area very well, I ve explored / worked in the Alice Arm / Kitsault territory quite a bit over the years. Its a high grade gold silver property with only limited modern exploration work done, modern tech will for sure find new resources there that the old timers ignored or missed.
