It's an odd topic because it's not clear what new developments there are to discuss and we've already had infinity threads about it, but when I'm alone with my thoughts, I always come back to it. It was a life changing event and the world seems much more fucked up than it was before.

For me, the biggest issue with it was that practically every government colluded on it. Think about the world of 2019. Is the US or Red China violating your property rights or whatever? You can eventually leave and live in one of the many countries that won't fuck you over in that particular way. It's a big world out there. Then what happened in 2020? There's no hope for the future. Humanity has entered a dark age of universal enslavement. It won't get better in your lifetime. My day to day life is very comfy right now and it's getting better but the state of the world is total dogshit. It's not clear how exactly to deal with that.
