They're forcefully speeding up the 'integration' of all of their minority ethnic groups. Cultural genocide is something which nearly every modern country has a legacy of anyways, oversized picture related. Am I supposed to care that China doesn't want to wait 50-100 years to do it gradually and peacefully? No I don't, because the only things which matter to me are my 2D harem and portfolio. It's entirely about internal stability and extracting maximum economic output, rather than exterminating certain demographics.
